This course focuses on styles in acting, and how these styles can be applied to different playwrights. Participants will be allocated weekly tasks to complete. Explore your ability to mine a text for clues as to the writer’s intention, and the requisite skills needed to realise these intentions in performance.

Week 5: J B Priestley. An Inspector Calls. Intense period drama.

Week 6: Bruce Norris. The Low Road. Political Drama.
