+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

12 Participants. This full day workshop will focus on screen acting techniques and give the actor a feel for what it's like to work on set with Jill Robertson. Explore all the all things screen-acting through practical exercises, discussion and acting from scripts. Exercises will be recorded on a live feed and in real-world conditions.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

JILL'S BIO

Jill Robertson is BAFTA nominated and most recently directed THE DIPLOMAT for World/Alibi, DALGLIESH for New Pictures/C5, and RED ELECTION for Disney+/Viaplay. Other work includes PENNYWORTH: THE ORGIN OF BATMAN’S BUTLER for HBO Max/MGM+, HUMANS for Kudos/C4/AMC, HARLOTS for Monumental/HULU/BBC and LAST TANGO IN HALFAX for Red/BBC. 

A former showgirl and drama teacher she trained at the NFTS and began her career working in development and production on films alongside inspirational directors Danny Boyle and Ken Loach on TRAINSPOTTING, A LIFE LESS ORDINARY and LADYBIRD, LADYBIRD. Jill subsequently co-produced Cannes Director’s Fortnight opener and award-winner 27 MISSING KISSES. She also produced several shorts including multiple award-winning DESSERTS starring Ewan McGregor.
