+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Workshop your musical theatre skills with Associate director Grace Taylor. The day will begin with a meet and great / group warm up. Then you will workshop 2x songs each with Grace and a highly skilled pianist. The day will also entail a 'mock audition'. Honest feedback and notes will be given. Everyone will participate and observe. There will be a chance for a Q&A at the end.

GRACE'S BIO

Grace is originally from Melbourne, Australia. Training: Guildford School of Acting and University of Melbourne. She is associate director for Six the Musical (West End, UK Tour and Australian Tour) and & Juliet (UK Tour and Hamburg). Grace’s passion is new musical theatre, she is the director of In Clay which was nominated for 7 Off-West End Awards for its run at Upstairs at the Gatehouse. She is also working on the revival of Australian Musical The Hatpin with co-producer Maryann Wright which was just awarded Arts Council Funding.

Directing credits include: Becoming Nigella by Emily Rose Simons, The Hatpin Revival by Peter Rutherford and James Millar, Music and Freedom (also as writer alongside Tim Gilvin), Flashdance (Italia Conti), In Clay at the Vaults Festival and Upstairs at the Gatehouse, Experience Marianas Workshop by Rob Rokicki and Sarah Beth Pfeifer, Confessions of a Rabbi’s Daughter by Emily Rose Simons, Stay Awake, Jake by Tim Gilvin (Southwark Playhouse, studio album 2020). Associate director credits include: SIX (UK Productions and Australian Tour), &Juliet (UK tour and Hamburg production), Wasted and Superhero (Southwark Playhouse, dir. Adam Lenson) and Fanatical (Mountview, dir. Lotte Wakeham).
