+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

SESSION 1 - Self-tape Feedback 20/09/2023:

Having looked at your online CV, Barry Coyle will send out a selection of scenes for you to choose one from regardless of age, gender or ethnicity. You will then be asked to submit a self-tape of this scene before the workshop.

There will then be a live Zoom session where each self-tape will be shown to the whole class. Barry will give specific feedback & direction to each participant.

SESSION 2 - Taking Direction 21/09/2023:

Prior to the second session, with Barry’s feedback and direction - you will tape your scene again. There will be time at the end of the final session for a Q&A. {This workshop adheres to CDG guidelines and isn’t an audition}.

BARRY'S BIO

Barry Coyle began his career in casting when he was appointed Casting Assistant at the Abbey Theatre in 2007. Since then he has gone on to work on a variety of Irish stage and screen productions, including work for Druid Theatre Company, The Gaiety Theatre, RTÉ, ABC Studios, BBC Television, Netflix and Element Pictures.Barry is also an active member of the Casting Directors Guild of Great Britain & Ireland.
