+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Sarah under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Sarah will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Sarah will send out prepared scenes for you to choose from. Select one scene from her options that identifies with you most regardless of age, gender and ethnicity.

SARAH'S BIO

Sarah is a full member of BAFTA and the CDG. Sarah has been working in the industry for over 10 years in Theatre, Musical Theatre, Film and TV and is now predominantly a UK casting director focusing on film and TV. Sarah was born and raised in Manchester, coming from a performing background at an early age. Sarah began her career in film working with Hollywood producer Larry Franco on "Batman Begins" for Warner Bros.

Sarah moved immediately into casting, working with one of London's premiere casting offices on Alfonso Cuaron's "Children of Men". She then spent the next few years, working with up and coming British filmmakers before turning her sights in the fast- paced world of television casting, assisting on well- known series for the BBC and ITV such as Luther, Law & Order UK, What Remains, Red Dwarf, Waking The Dead.
