Sarah is a full member of BAFTA and also the CDG (Casting Director's Guild).
Sarah was born in Manchester, UK, with her Father being from Hong Kong. She began her career in film as assistant to Hollywood producer Larry Franco on "Batman Begins". She was asked to return to the film's post-production as assistant to Emma Thomas (wife of director Christopher Nolan). Sarah moved immediately into casting, working with one of London's premiere casting offices on Alfonso Cuaron's "Children of Men". She then spent the next few years, working with up and coming British filmmakers before turning her sights to also gaining experience in the fast-paced world of television casting. Sarah freelanced for the the BBC and ITV, assisting on some of the country's highest rated series and mini-series, which include "Luther", "Waterloo Road," "Waking the Dead," "Inside Men," "Hope Springs," "Mayday," "Frankie," "What Remains," etc for the BBC, and "Law & Order: UK", "Homefront," "The Widower," "Just Henry," etc for ITV. Sarah finally found her niche in Film and is one of the UK's most promising new generation of independent diverse casting directors, also being the only casting director in the UK with a Chinese heritage.
Sarah has just finished casting George Takeiβs Allegiance which is due to premier in London in January and also currently about to start casting on 2 British feature films due to shoot early spring 2023.
