+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Sarah under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Sarah will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Sarah will send out prepared scenes for you to choose from. Select one scene from her options that identifies with you most regardless of age, gender and ethnicity.

SARAH'S BIO

Sarah was born in Manchester, coming from a mixed British/Chinese Sarah Leung is a full member of BAFTA and was chosen to be on the BAFTA Jury for Casting 2024, in this years BAFTA Film Awards. Sarah is also a full member of the CDG. Born in Manchester, coming from a mixed British/Chinese background, making her one of the only casting directors in the UK with Chinese heritage. She started her career in film, assisting the producers on "Batman Begins". For Warner bros. From here, Sarah went straight into casting, assisting in Film. Then later becoming a casting director in her own right. Sarah is known for casting a diverse range of talent in Film, TV, Theatre. Last year Sarah cast 3 shows which were all nominated for Theatre awards. So far this year, Sarah is currently casting the film ‘Past Lives’, Starring Antonia Thomas, Suzzy Eddie Izzard, John Hannah) and also 2 other movies shooting later this year and also spring 2025. Plus also casting 2 musicals premiering in London and Birmingham. Sarah is repped by Tracy Brenan at CAA and Mildred Yuan.
