+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Matt Sheppard and Sophie Aiken under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Matt and Sophie will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel, Matt and Sophie will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Matt and Sophie would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost! {This workshop adheres to CDG guidelines and isn’t an audition}.

Matt Sheppard and Sophie Aiken work at Jina Jay Casting (Dune, Halo, Star Wars, The Lobster, Black Mirror)

Jina is an Emmy Award Nominee, a CDG and CSA member with an extensive list of credits.
