+ WORKSHOP DETAILS

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Gordon Cowell under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Gordon will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Having looked at your online CV, Gordon will send you a scene before the workshop that’s specifically tailored to suit you! Gordon would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

GORDON'S BIO

Gordon has worked in casting for ten years on projects spanning theatre, television and film. He is currently casting Bartlett Sher’s My Fair Lady for the London Coliseum with James Orange as Casting Consultant. Notable credits as Casting Associate to Kate Rhodes James CDG include: HBO’s House of the Dragon; Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci, The Last Duel and Raised by Wolves; Series 4-6 of Line of Duty and Bodyguard. Alongside Jill Green CDG, Co-Casting credits include: Jersey Boys(West End Casts 5-9 & UK Tour 2014-15) and The Scottsboro Boys (Garrick & Young Vic) and Casting Associate credits include: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time (2016 Gielgud Cast); Kinky Boots (Original Cast, Adelphi) and War Horse (2016 New London).
