+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Matt Sheppard under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Matt will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel, Matt Sheppard will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Matt would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

MATT'S BIO

Having originally trained as an actor, Matt entered the world of Casting in 2018 assisting Carolyn McLeod CSA across many projects including: The Princess Switch 2 & 3 & A Castle For Christmas for Netflix and the BIFA winning and BAFTA nominated Boiling Point. Matt is currently working at Jina Jay Casting (Death to 2021, The Beautiful Game for Netflix)
