+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Get the chance to practice your audition skills, in person with Naomi Downham and Olga Lyubarova- Casting Team at the National Theatre. You’ll be looking specifically at contemporary text. Honest feedback and notes will be given prior to a second read. Everyone will participate and observe and there will be a chance for a Q&A at the end.

Naomi's BIO

Naomi is currently Casting Associate at The Royal National Theatre, having started her career as a Junior Agent at Lou Coulson Associates.

She works across all three theatres on the South Bank as part of the NT Casting Department, and her most recent credits include Athena (Yard Theatre, dir. Grace Gummer), Hamlet (Schools Tour, dir. Tinuke Craig), Jekyll & Hyde (Schools Tour, dir. Kirsty Housley).

Co-credits include: The Crucible (Olivier Theatre, dir. Lyndsey Turner) , The Corn is Green (Lyttelton Theatre, dir. Dominic Cooke), The Normal Heart (Olivier Theatre, dir. Dominic Cooke), Death of England: Face to Face (Film, dir. Clint Dyer) & The Ocean at The End of the Lane (Dorfman Theatre, dir. Katy Rudd).

Olga's BIO

Olga Lyubarova started to work in the casting industry in 2015 in Ukraine, working on local and international projects around Europe. She launched a Casting Industry Association, the International Forum of Casting Directors, and Casting Platform 'Dreamcast' in Ukraine.

In 2022 she moved to the UK where she is now based and is a member of the CDG in GB. Her last feature film "Pamfir" was premiered in Cannes during Director's Fortnight 2022 and was nominated for European Academy Award.

She’s working mostly on film projects around Europe and also is currently working as a Casting Assistant at the National Theatre in London. www.castingram.com
