+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Emma Sylvester under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Emma will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel, Emma will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Emma would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

EMMA'S BIO

Emma is a Casting freelancer and has worked extensively across film and television casting and has spent the last five years in house at the BBC in it's continuing drama casting department. Emma has a kind and nurturing approach to working with actors and creates a safe and nurturing space for actors to learn and thrive. Emma's work to date includes: Holby City, Doctors, Casualty, Father Brown, Sister Boniface Mysteries, Shakespeare and Hathaway, The Canterville Ghost, Bruno.
