+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel, Abhaya Sethu will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Abhaya would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Abhaya under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Abhaya will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

Having started off in Production, Abby Sethu moved into the field of casting in 2018. She was fortunate to have gained experience with Dixie Chassay and worked as a freelance casting assistant for Heather Basten. Since 2020 Abby has worked with Amy Hubbard for 2 years as a casting assistant having had the most wonderful time working on TV/Film projects such as SUSPICION, THE OUTLAWS, DECEIT and THE GIRL BEFORE. She is currently working as a casting assistant for Catherine Willis.
