+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel, Sofie will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Sofie would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Sofie under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Sofie will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

Sofie is Jeremy Zimmermann's Casting Associate. Jeremy Zimmermann Casting is one of the UK’s leading casting offices and has worked on international productions for the past twenty years with such notable directors as Peter Yates, Ron Howard, Guillermo del Toro, and Richard Attenborough. He was nominated for an Emmy in 1995 for Outstanding Individual Achievement for the casting Joseph, a television movie.

To date Jeremy has worked on such features as Africa United, Double Identity, Legend, Willow, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Blade 2, Keeping Mum and more recently The Mutant Chronicles, Hellboy and Hellboy 2 and The Code.
