+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel, Josie Kemp will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Josie would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Josie under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Josie will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

JOSIE'S BIO

Josie works in casting and has assisted on projects with MGM, Netflix. BBC and many other well known production companies. She has also worked in commercial casting, assisting on commercials for Tesco, Nike, Amazon, Samsung, amongst others. She is currently working with Lucinda Syson who produced Film/ TV such as The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Foundations and other big titles. Prior to that she was working with Kharmel Cochrane who produced commercials/TV/Film such as Game of Thrones, Saint Maud, The End of the F*g World and many commercials for big companies - such as the CDG nominated Amazon commercial & Sainsbury's Christmas commercial.
