+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

We will pass on your Spotlight CV to Anna Boffa. Anna will then send out a selection of scenes for you to choose from. Please select one scene regardless of age, gender and ethnicity! Anna would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Anna under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Kitty will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

ANNA'S BIO

Anna has just finished working on some exciting studio films such as KNIVES OUT 3 and PROJECT HAIL MARY starring Ryan Gosling, as Olivia Brittain and Martin Ware’s Casting Assistant. Previously she has worked with Dixie Chassay, known for POOR THINGS and DUNE 2 and, more recently, with Jessie Frost and Nicola Chisholm on several feature films and Amazon/Netflix series. In her spare time, she also works as Casting Director for student short films, mainly in collaboration with the London Film School.
