+ WORKSHOP FORMAT
Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel, Ollie Gilbert will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Ollie would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.
Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Ollie under audition conditions (with the whole group present).
We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Ollie will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.
Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

Ollie Gilbert is one half of the casting partnership GILBERT & COVELL - Formed in 2017 G&C is a London-based casting company with 20+ years of combined industry experience and an unwavering commitment to casting with integrity and delivering authenticity. With credits spanning a wide range of projects and mediums - studio features, independent films, TV series, music videos, commercials and shorts and animations - we consider ourselves somewhat genre and form-agnostic, but always with a particular interest in projects that offer truthful representation of our diverse society.
