WORKSHOP FORMAT

In this online workshop, Laura will send out prepared scenes for you to self-tape before the class - we will send your Spotlight CV to Laura so that she can tailor the scene to suit you.

There will then be a live Zoom session where each self-tape will be shown to the whole class and Laura will give her feedback live. There will be time at the end for a Q&A.

BIO

Laura Windows has over 15 years experience casting film, television and commercials.. She began casting commercials, working with Sasha Roberston and then moved into film and television casting, working with Lucinda Syson and Elaine Grainger on projects such as 'Stardust', 'Batman: The Dark Knight' and Emmy winning 'House of Saddam'. She has also worked as an Assistant Director on feature films in the UK, in commercials in Sydney, Australia and on the casting team for the 2012 London Olympic Ceremonies. She now works as a Casting Associate and Co Casting Director with Suzanne Smith. In the past they have cast 'Lucky Man' for Sky, 'Absentia' for Amazon, 'Mars' for National Geographic and 'Origin' for Youtube Originals. Recently they they have worked on 'Shadow and Bone' and 'Venus Flytrap' two new show for Netflix, and two series of 'Pennyworth' for WB/Epix. They also cast the recent film 'To Olivia' starring Hugh Bonneville and Keeley Hawes. Laura also casts the Syfy series 'The Outpost'.
