After looking at your Spotlight CV, Carl will allocate you a partner and tailor sides to specifically suit you, mainly from film or TV projects that he has cast or is currently working on. Carl would like participants to be as familiar with text as possible. The workshop begins with a brief introduction and you will then be separated into private breakout rooms to rehearse for 10mins. You will then rejoin in the main room where Carl will go through each pair, giving notes and allowing time to do your scene a second time.
A “Q&A” will then follow and Carl will give specific feedback to each person on different aspects of their profile, having looked in advance at your CV’s, photos, showreels, voice reels etc. He will be able to advice on self-tapes, approaching agents and casting directors, Spotlight, current climate and what every else might come up in questions from the group.
