+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

After looking at your Spotlight CV, Sophie will allocate you a partner and tailor sides for you to choose from, mainly from film or TV projects that she has cast or is currently working on. Sophie would like participants to be as familiar with text as possible.

The workshop begins with a brief introduction. You will then be separated into private breakout rooms to rehearse for 10mins. You will then rejoin in the main room where Sophie will go through each pair, giving notes and allowing time to do your scene a second time. To be followed by a ‘Q&A”.

{This workshop adheres to CDG guidelines and isn’t an audition}.

SOPHIE'S BIO

Sophie has been working in the casting industry for 6 years. She started out working as a casting associate at Hubbard Casting with Ros and John Hubbard, where she worked on films such as 'Journey's End', 'Hurricane' and 'The More You Ignore Me'.

She now works with Des Hamilton and has most recently worked on projects such as Nextflix's 'The King', 'Top Boy Series 3' and 'Jojo Rabbit’.
