+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

We will pass on your Spotlight CV to Barry Doyle. Barry will then send out a selection of scenes for you to choose from. Please select one scene regardless of age, gender and ethnicity! You will then be asked to to record and submit your self-tape.

There will then be a live Zoom session where each self-tape will be shown to the whole class and Barry will give her feedback live. There will be time at the end for a Q&A.

Barry Coyle began his career in casting when he was appointed Casting Assistant at the Abbey Theatre in 2007. Since then he has gone on to work on a variety of Irish stage and screen productions, including work for Druid Theatre Company, The Gaiety Theatre, RTÉ, ABC Studios, BBC Television, Netflix and Element Pictures. Barry is also an active member of the Casting Directors Guild of Great Britain & Ireland.
