+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Ana Duarte under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Ana will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Ana Duarte will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Ana would like participants to be as familiar with text as possible.

ANA'S BIO

Ana Duarte works as a freelance Casting Assistant and has had the pleasure of working for Andy Brierley, Theo Park, and Victor Jenkins. Her experience spans across various TV projects, including "Silent Witness" (BBC), "Chemistry Of Death" (Paramount+), the newest season of "Starstruck" (BBC Three), and the upcoming Alfonso Cuarón Apple TV show "Disclaimer", among others. Ana has also had the opportunity to work for Sophie Holland as her Personal Assistant while completing her NFTS Casting Course, and she has gained valuable casting experience in Shaheen Baig's office as well. In addition to her professional achievements, Ana is a passionate advocate for disability and neurodiversity in the industry.
