WRITE A SHORT FILM IN 6 WEEKS!
5 participants. 3 hours each Sunday from JANUARY 22ND. Participants will be allocated weekly tasks to complete, with the idea of developing a 10-15 minute script over the duration of the course. There is no need to have an idea ahead of the course starting. No previous writing experience required.

Week 2 - Character Analysis and Character Development
Analysing great screen characters
Stream of consciousness writing

Week 3 - Character Presentations
Participants present character ideas
Analysis and discussion
Week 4 - Story pitches. Defining the beats
Participants present story outlines
Analysis and discussion of story beats
Week 5 - First Draft
Reading of first drafts
Analysis and discussion
Week 6 - Second Draft
Reading of second drafts
Analysis and discussion
**Following the course, participants have the opportunity to submit a re-worked draft of their script which Dee will give comments on in a free one hour 121.**
