THE CAMERA LOVES YOU - with Suri Krishnamma
12 PARTICIPANTS. 7 HOURS PER DAY. 2 DAYS.
This two-day workshop will cover the nuts and bolts of performing on camera. It will explore the specific expectations of a screen actor,
stay ‘in the moment’ when filming out of sequence,
work with developing shots and how to ensure your best take gets on camera.
Through practical exercises, participants will be guided through a process to find the meaning and hidden meaning of scenes, how to stage the hidden meaning, and how to change a performance quickly in front of a camera. Exercises will be recorded and in real-world conditions and will be critically debriefed during the two days.
AT THE END OF THE PROCESS THERE WILL BE A FILMED FINAL PERFORMANCE WHICH WILL ALLOW YOU TO SHOWCASE WHAT YOU HAVE DEVELOPED TOGETHER.
